Anyone else remember roaming around Rolling Acres Mall, or being in the Dance, Dance, Revolution tournaments in the gaming arcade?
After many years of struggling to sell the mall has finally been purchased as reported by the Akron Beacon Journal by an investment group from California for the price of $3 million. While the article mentions it's not likely to reopen as a mall it will be a "business" center which will house office, call centers, etc.

Here's a video I found a few months back when trying to find what the inside of the mall would currently look like. This video was shot legally - OhioFashionista.com does not condone trespassing to have such adventures.

First of all is this guy really on his bike inside the mall?! Hahahahah. What a waste of a mall. That entire area is a complete ghost town, it used to be the place to be as a teen. I used to be there every weekend! $3 million for that entire mall? That's like pocket change for a place that big.
I agree, but large properties have been going dirt cheap i the area lately...plus they still had to pay all the back taxes and utilities - which is more like a drop in the bucket next to 3mil.
The Carousel went for 100k, I was shocked will be curious to see what comes of it but not expecting much considering a construction company bought it.
