This past weekend at a conference about sustainable textiles I was fortunate enough to enjoy good conversation with Debora Galaz the artist behind Lana de Flor . Debora creates beautiful felted works including flowers (pins), soaps, hats, jewelry and much more. Deborah found her love for felting while staying at home with her adorable children and was looking for artistic therapy and release.

My personal favorite, drum roll, is the floral pins. There is a large variety of poppies, peonies, lilies and a variety roses.
